IMG Roadmap Series #24. Dr. Stanley Ogu (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery)
I was scrolling through Instagram last year when I fell on a post about Dr. Stan. He had just obtained his Board Certification status from the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Then I went on to read that he was an IMG. In usual style, I reached out to congratulate him because his success was evident!
Today he is our guest on the podcast and I am so honored to share his story with you. He is from Nigeria and had his eyes set on this plan of plastic surgery many years before he manifested it. He was laser focused, intentional and ensured that every move he made during his early years lined up with where he wanted to be.
See, this is how IMGs should plan. We should begin way ahead of time. We should surround ourselves with resources that keep the dream alive. After keeping such information within reach, we should then take ACTION! I encourage you to take a baby step today that will get you closer to your dream!
