My Top 5 Tips for Creating Your ROL (Rank Order List)

If the thought of not matching terrifies you then I want you to put serious consideration into how you create your rank order list.

In this episode, I share the top evidence backed resources on how to create a rank order list. The key point here are:

  1. Tap into mutual like-ability from interview day and post interview communication

  2. Only rank programs that you interviewed at (unless they tell you otherwise)

  3. Rank according to where you want to go

  4. Exercise emotional intelligence in this process

  5. Avoid last minute changes to your list

Now I am directing you to this episode I recorded in 2020 so the dates are not applicable. The 2021 deadline is March 3rd 2021. You can find the updated dates for 2021 by clicking HERE.

Once you listen if you too have a short ROL I aspire that after you listen to my story you build the faith you need to survive these next few weeks before match day.

Below I have provided you with a few links and websites as to where you can learn more about the match algorithm. You should definitely start with the free resources on the NRMP's (National Resident Match Program) youtube page which has tons of graphics and easy to understand videos that explain the algorithm.
